Mrs. MonroeI'm a third grade teacher at Parkdale Elementary. I have 2 children ages 6 and 3. I am a sewing and knitting addict, I love to read, and I'm an all around nature lover! I have been teaching for 12 years and have taught in third and fourth grade. I can honestly say my heart and mind lie in teaching and I couldn't imagine doing anything else!

I have a Masters in Elementary Education from Portland State University and a bachelor’s degree in Literature from The University of Illinois. I grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, but have lived in Oregon for the past 15 years. I absolutely love living in the Hood River Valley. I hope you enjoy browsing around our class website.
